The Skyline Trail Surprise Proposal ::: Kamal and Maya

When Kamal called me about a surprise proposal session on the Skyline Trail I was beyond excited.
Not only do I get to be part of a surprise proposal, but I get to do it on one of the most amazing places on the Cabot Trail in Cape Breton.

I will be honest, it’s not every day my heart races during a photo session, but this one got it going! There was just a little bit of pressure, but in the end, it worked out perfectly.

The plan was, we will end up in the parking lot around the same time and I would follow Kamal and Maya in, without her knowing of course. This was easy, the Skyline Trail is full of people with cameras! I just had to pay close attention to what was happening at the end of the trail and make sure I was ready to capture the moment.

Phenomenal is the word I can use to describe it. I loved being part of this for Kamal and Maya and I cannot wait to do more of these sessions. There already are a few more!
