Tubing down the Margaree River!
Have you heard of Live Life InTents? If you haven't, you need to check them out. Lee and his younger brother Liam are doing amazing things in Margaree, one of the most amazing places in the world.
They offer a turn-key adventure experience for whatever you want to do and they are quite possibly two of the most unique and coolest guys you will ever meet. I am jealous of the amazing stuff they are doing!
I have known Liam for quite a while, he is a CrossFitter so we go back. I just recently met Lee on our first tubing adventure and his reputation preceded him, he is cooler than the other side of a pillow. I got to hear stories about his 1956 International S-100, which you can see below (I love old trucks) and also a story from Angelo Spinazzola, who was on the tubing adventure with us, about his first time meeting Lee when Lee was just about 14 years old in a raft in the middle of the ocean off shore at Pollett's Cove fishing for mackeral. These guys were literally living there, alone and fishing for food, living under a tarp on the beach and LOVING it.
Honestly, I loved this. These guys are doing what they love and doing it their way, it's admirable as F. You can go tubing, camp or glamp on their 100 year old farmland, rent gear to go on your own adventure or have them plan a custom adventure for you.
My advice is to check them out, if you have kids the tubing is awesome for them as well. Ben was with us for maybe 3 minutes before he was gone down river. Helen got a little worried but I reassured her that he was close to Angelo, who happens to own North River Kayak Tours and has for 25 years, I would assume he was safer with Angelo than he was with us!
Lots of photos on this one!
I shot a lot of images for this one, so get ready to scroll down for the rest. After the tubing we hit up the Dancing Goat Cafe & Bakery and then went over to Chimney Corner Beach for the rest of the day. Ended up being one of the of best days ever!
Some of the shots above were taken by Ben, he is really starting to impress me. He has the controls down now and is really doing an awesome job making photos!
Give these guys a message and get booked in for something! It was a blast!
